Alison has lived in St Anne’s Ward all of her life and feels that she has the skills, local knowledge and passion to represent and support this community.

She is approaching 40 years of voluntary youth leadership in the ward, with, offering girls and young women the opportunity for personal development and community engagement. Hundreds of local families know her well, through working with young people.

Her priorities for the Ward would be: tackling environmental crime and regeneration of the ward by working with local community groups and residents; communicating well and supporting all ward residents, seeking new ways to engage all age groups; and working with local people and groups to develop a range of community activities.

Alison is a friendly, hard working person who believes that strong community is at the heart of a decent society and that everyone has their place.
